That's it in a nutshell, but it doesn't begin to explain the places I've been, the things I have seen and the experiences I have had.
I often tell people all I really want to be when I grow up is a good dinner conversationalist.. To be one, you have to get out, see some things, meet some people, and experience what life has to offer. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have worked on commercials for many of America’s biggest brands, contribute material to some of America’s biggest media outlets, work with some amazingly talented musicians, and day-play on some of America’s most beloved TV and movie projects. If you're lucky, you get about 80 years or so on this planet. They're "your" years, you can do with them what you please. This is what I am doing with mine.
By trade, I am an American director/cinematographer for Oasis Films, a commercial motion picture production company which I own. But when I am not shooting television commercials, music videos, or whatever film I may get into, you will probably find me with a still camera in my hand. I love the outdoors, nature, and everything wild. Over the years, I have shot just about everything that walks, crawls, flies or swims, and you can see many of those pictures here on this site. I tried keeping my still photography "just for me"... an escape, a refuge. But over the years it has snuck into my career from time to time. Still, I try to keep that in check because I am happiest in some exotic location with no one telling me what to shoot ... and something interesting on the horizon.
